IESA has started a Maharashtra Chapter. The inauguration was on Friday 21st April.

I was invited to present Semiconductor focus at IIT Bombay. It was a perfect chance to exercise the SemiX pitch that we have been grooming. It seemed to have gone well.

There was unexpected learning. Coming to think of it, I wonder where expected learning is learning at all. In any case, I realized the Pune has various semiconductor companies. IESA have added 24 electronics and semiconductors companies from the region as members.

• Big companies like Marvell and Seagate.
• Various power electronics companies that make cleanrooms and chemicals
• Horiba is trying to manufacturing MFCs
• Met an Intel engineer in the advanced packaging space working from home out of Mumbai
• College of Engineering Pune

All these guys have significant interest in SemiX!

IESA also seems to have an aspiration to engage in talent development for industries. I wonder if there is a path to join forces.
